Welcome to the Fluvanna County Radio Control Flying Club (FCRCFC). We are a non-profit organization that enjoys building and flying model aircraft. The public is welcome to attend our club meetings that occur on the 2nd Saturday of every month. Meetings are held at the Fluvanna County Library at 10 AM, but in nice weather we often hold the meeting at the field.  Check the "Next Meeting" block for the most up-to-date meeting information. The public is also welcome to join us at our flying field for yearly events or as a guest of a club member. Our field is located right next to the Fluvanna County Landfill off of Route 6. Click here for directions and a map to our field. Access our field rules here. If you are interested in joining FCRCFC, please see the contact page for further information. To become a club member, you must join the Academy of Model Aeronautics and only club qualified pilots may fly at the field by themselves. Club and AMA membership information and forms can be found at the Club Information page.

Wings and Wheels 4 PAWS (WW4PAWS) Car Show and Model Aviation Extravaganza, held Saturday, June 25th,  was a great success.  300 people enjoyed seeing the 50 amazing cars that entered the show from as far away as Woodbridge, Virginia, model aviation activity spanning everything from giant scale to tiny racing drones, free lunch, vendors, cornhole, and a huge raffle with some great prizes.  Contributing to the amazing variety of aerial exhibitions were pilots from Valley RC Flying Club and the Charlottesville First Person View (FPV) Group - thanks for coming out, fellas!  Commentary from pilots, car show entries and judges, and spectators was uniformly positive.  WW4PAWS was the largest event ever hosted by the FCRCFC, and resulted in the club being able to donate $2,800 to the beneficiaries. Huge thanks to everyone inside and outside the club for all the work to make it a success, and to everyone who attended.  Plans are already afoot for WW4PAWS 2017.  In the coming months, updates will be posted to the Wings and Wheels 4 PAWS Facebook page and/or the dedicated Wings and Wheels 4 PAWS website.
