Welcome to the Fluvanna County Radio Control Flying Club (FCRCFC). We are a non-profit organization that enjoys building and flying model aircraft. The public is welcome to attend our club meetings that occur on the 4th Monday of every month. Meetings are held at the Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad building at 7:30 PM. The public is also welcome to join us at our flying field for yearly events or as a guest of a club member. Our field is located right next to the Fluvanna County Landfill off of Route 6. Click here for directions and a map to our field. Access our field rules here. If you are interested in joining FCRCFC, please see the contact page for further information. To become a club member, you must join the Academy of Model Aeronautics and only club qualified pilots may fly at the field by themselves. Club and AMA membership information and forms can be found at the Club Information page.

Front Page News

Happy New Year to all the pilots of the FCRCFC and all visitors to the site!  It's wintry and crummy as I write this on January 24th, but flying season is just around the corner.  More info coming soon, but there are two AMA sanctioned events on the calendar already.  Coming up April 18th will be the first ever "Quad Mania" event.  Three months later, July 18th, we'll host the second annual RC PAWS fundraiser for local county animal shelters.  Add in some kind of builders' showcase event and whatever else we can dream up, and 2015 is already shaping up to be a great year for the FCRCFC.  So, get your old aircraft repaired, build some new ones, and get yourself ready for a great flying season.

Radio Control Piloting for Animal Welfare Shindig (RC-PAWS) 2015 will be held July 18th, with Sunday July 19th as rain date.   As planning for the event proceeds, all the latest info will be posted on the RC PAWS 2015 page.  Click here for all the latest info.
