Announcing Airplanes of the World VI
Freestate Aeromodelers is proud to announce that our annual scale model airplane fly in, Airplanes of the World VI, is coming up on June 26th, 2010.
Who we are: We're the members of Freestate Aeromodeleers, AMA charter 232, and we've been around since 1980. We have about 125 members.
What it is: A scale model airplane and helicopter fun fly.
When it is: June 26th, 2010, registration begins at 7:30 am; open flying begins around 9:30 am.
Who should come: Anyone who wants to fly their scale models or who wants to see some great looking scale planes and meet their builders.
What type of aircraft are permitted at AOW VI: Any scale airplane or helicopter. This is not a contest, it is a fun fly. Bring your most intricately detailed model or bring your foamy scale model. The emphasis is on fun and on seeing old friends and making new ones!

All size warbirds welcome on June 26, 2010, at the 95th Squadron Flying Field, ½ mile west of I-95 off the 176 exit (Gaston, Garyburg). Contact Alan Arthur (252) 578-6903 with questions.
AGENDA: All size and type warbirds welcome. C-restricted flyin. Landing Fee is $10.00 which is always here and will include a ticket that will be used for your lunch that will be served at 12 Noon. Registration at 8am; flying will begin after the Pilots' Meeting at 9am. Please come and join us for a day of ZOOM AND BOOM; AMAZING DETAIL AND SCALE REALISM. LOCATION: 1700 Bear Pond Road (the Club Field), Henderson, NC 27537
TIME: 8:00am Pilot Registration; Open Flying 9:00am until Dark; Saturday demonstration flights from top pilots; Open LMR (limited motor run) competition winner will receive a Radian ARF sail plane.
ADMISSION: Spectators: Free; Pilot Landing Fee: $10.00. All plane operators are required to have current AMA Card.
